The problems of stochastic stability and H control for a class of discrete time singular networked control systems (SNCSs) with data packet dropouts and nonlinear perturbation are investigated in this paper. By modeling the sensor-tocontroller and controller-to-actuator with random data packet dropouts as Markov chains, the closed-loop system can be expressed as a jump discrete singular system...

This paper proposes a high-precision intelligent adaptive backstepping control system (HPIABCS) for the position control of permanent-magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) servo drive. The HPIABCS incorporates an ideal backstepping controller, a dynamic recurrent-fuzzy-wavelet-neural-network (DRFWNN) uncertainty observer and a robust H∞ controller. First, a backstepping position controller is designe...

in order to make the best utilization of a link in computer networks, active queue management (aqm) algorithms are generally used in a variety of methods. in this paper, a systematic control strategy based on self-scheduled h ∞, considering the dynamics of the window-based tcp flow, is proposed. then, the robustness of the designed controller to disturbance and parameter fluctuations of the pla...

In this paper, the delay-dependent robust resilient H∞ control is investigated for singular time-delay systems with norm-bounded parameter uncertainty. First, a new delaydependent bounded real lemma (BRL) for the nominal singular time-delay system is established. Then the problem of robust resilient H∞ control is solved via a resilient controller with respect to additive and multiplicative cont...

A new approach to gain scheduling the classical \three-loop" autopilot structure is discussed for both the single-axis (pitch) case and the three-axis case. Simulation results in the single-axis case show that the new gain scheduled controller yields better performance than a traditional approach. Analysis of the three-axis case indicates an even greater potential for performance improvement wi...

We present the integration of artificial intelligence, robust, nonlinear and model reference adaptive control (MRAC) methods for fault-tolerant control (FTC). We combine MRAC schemes with classical PID controllers, artificial neural networks (ANNs), genetic algorithms (GAs), H∞ controls and sliding mode controls. Six different schemas are proposed: the first one is an MRAC with an artificial ne...

In this paper the H and H∞ sampled-data problems with mixed discrete/continuous specifications (MDCS) are considered. The hold function is not fixed a-priory but rather is the design parameter. The (sub)optimal controller obtained is of the form of a serial interconnection of a (sub)optimal digital controller and a (sub)optimal hold function.

In this paper, a search method for a fixed-order controller that satisfies the standard H∞ control problem is proposed. This is a descent method that gives a sequence of the stabilizing controllers so that the H∞ performance function may be monotonically non-increasing. A frequency-dependent LMI(linear matrix inequality) with respect to the coefficient matrices of the controller is derived from...

H∞ control problem for linear discrete-time systems with instantaneous and delayed measurements is studied. A sufficient and necessary condition for the existence of the H∞ controller is derived by applying re-organized innovation analysis approach. The measurement-feedback controller is designed by performing two Riccati equations. The presented approach does not require the state augmentation.
