A class of RC-OTA hysteretic-chaotic generators has been proposed from the electronics point of view. Hysteresis is captured by an electronic realization. To extend its applicability, hysteretic mathematical modeling is an important issue. Here, a new hysteretic model is proposed. With this model, we realized a well known hysteretic-chaotic attractor using Simnon.

Hysteresis motor is self-starting synchronous motor that uses the hysteresis characteristics of magnetic materials to make torque. There are different methods to model this kind of motor and take into account the magnetic hysteresis characteristic of the rotor hysteresis ring. In this investigation the application of complex permeability concept is implemented to model the hysteresis loop and t...

The aim of this tutorial is to provide insight in the mechanism behind the behaviour of oscillators. A 10MHz negative resistance oscillator is used as an example. A hysteresis phenomena in connection with the negative resistance characteristic is found. By means of piece wise linear modeling and the ”frozen eigenvalues” approach sinusoidal oscillations are investigated.

We discuss issues related to modeling of nonlinearities and hysteresis arising in a class of magnetorheological-based smart elastomers. The dynamic models, intended for use in parameter estimation and control problems, are presented in the context of simple elongation of a lled rubber-like rod. Theoretical, computational and experimental results are given.

Perception is an active inferential process in which prior knowledge is combined with sensory input, the result of which determines the contents of awareness. Accordingly, previous experience is known to help the brain "decide" what to perceive. However, a critical aspect that has not been addressed is that previous experience can exert 2 opposing effects on perception: An attractive effect, se...

Electromagnetic fields and eddy currents in thin electrical steel laminations are governed by the laws of magnetodynamics with hysteresis. If lamination is large respect to its thickness, field current distributions accurately resolved solving a 1-D finite element magnetodynamic problem hysteresis across half thickness. This model able deliver mesoscopic information be used, after appropriate h...

It has been found that the response of acupuncture point on the human meridian line exhibits nonlinear dynamic behavior when excitation of electroacupuncture is implemented on another meridian point. This nonlinear phenomenon is in fact a hysteretic phenomenon. In order to explore the characteristic of human meridian and finally find a way to improve the treatment of diseases via electro-acupun...
