T he Meijer G–functions are a remarkable family G of functions of one variable, each of them determined by finitely many indices. Although each such function is a linear combination of certain special functions of standard type, they seem not to be well known in the mathematical community generally. Indeed they are not even mentioned in most books on special functions, e.g., [1], [18]. Even the...

we commence by using from a new norm on l1(g) the -algebra of all integrable functions on locally compact group g, to make the c-algebra c(g). consequently, we find its dual b(g), which is a banach algebra so-called fourier-stieltjes algebra, in the set of all continuous functions on g. we consider most of important basic theorems about this algebra. this consideration leads to a rather com...

Let U and V be independent random variables with continuous density function on the interval (0, 1). We describe families of functions g for which uniformity of U and V is equivalent to uniformity of g(U, V) on (0, 1). These results axe used to prescribe methods for improving the quality of pseudo-random number generators by making them closer in distribution to the U(0, 1) distribution.

G-frames are natural generalizations of frames which cover many other recent generalizations of frames, e.g., bounded quasi-projectors, frames of subspaces, outer frames, oblique frames, pseudo-frames and a class of timefrequency localization operators. Moreover, it was shown that g-frames are equivalent to stable space splittings. In this paper, we study the stability of g-frames. We first pre...

This study aims to understand families' dynamics during the experience of pediatric liver transplantation, and to identify families' demands and resources. Symbolic interactionism was used as the theoretical framework and grounded theory as the methodological reference. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with eight families at a public hospital in Sao Paulo, SP, Brazil. Two ...

We give a description of all transmutation operators from the Bessel-Struve operator to the second-derivative operator. Next we define and characterize the mean-periodic functions on the space Ᏼ of entire functions and we characterize the continuous linear mappings from Ᏼ into itself which commute with Bessel-Struve operator. 1. Introduction. Let A and B be two differential operators on a linea...

The canonical evolution and symmetry generators are exhibited for a Klein-Gordon (K-G) system which has been partitioned by an accelerated coordinate frame into a pair of subsystems. This partitioning of the K-G system is conveyed to the canonical generators by the eigenfunction property of the Minkowski Bessel (M-B) modes. In terms of the M-B degrees of freedom, which are unitarily related to ...

A tree controlled grammar is specified as a pair (G,G) where G is a context-free grammar and G is a regular grammar. Its language consists of all terminal words with a derivation in G such that all levels of the corresponding derivation tree – except the last level – belong to L(G). We define the nonterminal complexity Var(H) of H = (G,G) as the sum of the numbers of nonterminals of G and G. In...
