In this article Adomian decomposition method, as a well-known method for solving functional equations, has been employed to solve systems of Integral–differential equations. Theoretical considerations are discussed, and convergence of the method for these systems is addressed. Some examples are presented to show the ability of the method for such systems. 2004 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.

In this article, Adomian decomposition method is successfully applied to find an approximate analytical solution of a Stefan problem subject to periodic boundary condition. By using initial and boundary conditions, the explicit solutions of the temperature distribution and the position of moving interface are evaluated and numerical results are depicted graphically. The method performs extremel...

In this article we review the Adomian decomposition method (ADM) and its modifications including different modified and parametrized recursion schemes, the multistage ADM for initial value problems as well as the multistage ADM for boundary value problems, new developments of the method and its applications to linear or nonlinear and ordinary or partial differential equations, including fractio...

Adomian decomposition method (ADM) is applied to approximately solve stochastic fractional integrodifferential equations involving nonlocal initial condition. The convergence of the ADM for the considered problem is proved. The mean square error between approximate solution and accurate solution is also given. [Mahmoud M. In this paper, the modified Adomian s decomposition method for calculating a numerical solution of the one-dimensional quasi-linear, the Burgers equation, is presented. Time discretization has been used in decomposition, without using any transformation in the Burgers equation such as Hopf–Cole transformation. The numerical results obtained by this way for various values of viscosity have been ...

In this paper, an application of Homotopy Analysis Method (HAM) is applied to solve the equation governing the unsteady flow of a polytropic gas. Comparison are made between the Adomian decomposition method and homotopy analysis method. The results reveal that the homotopy analysis method is very effective and simp le and gives the exact solution. Classification 2000 MSC: 34K28 • 35G25 • 34K17

The formation of liver zones is modeled by a system of two integropartial differential equations. In this research, we introduce the mathematical formulation of these integro-partial differential equations obtained by Bass et al. in 1987. For better understanding of this mathematical formulation, we present a medical introduction for the liver in order to make the formulation as clear as possib...

In this paper, an efficient modification of Adomian decomposition method is introduced for solving second order ordinary differential equations. The proposed method can be applied to singular and nonsingular problems. The scheme is tested for some examples and the obtained results demonstrate efficiency of the proposed method. 2006 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
