2 3 3 3 2 Na[BH(C H N ) ]·solvent (solvent = H O, DMF, IPA) crystallize as a porous framework with the distorted primitive cubic (pcu) topology. Solvent molecules occupy the framework pores. The solvent of crystallization can be removed by heating. Isothermal thermogravimetric analysis shows that solvent loss is consistent with a 1-D diffusion mechanism. Variable temperature powder X-ray diffra...

The open light gluino window allows non-trivial higher-twist gluino contributions to the proton wave function. Using a two-component model originally developed for charm hadroproduction, higher-twist intrinsic gluino contributions to final-state R-hadron formation are shown to enhance leading-twist production in the forward xF region. We calculate R-hadron production at plab 800 GeV in pp, pBe,...

Evaluating the effectiveness of fertilizers on crops without traditional yield is difficult, as clipping collection time-consuming and not indicative desired response to fertilizer. Remote sensing techniques, like normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI), have emerged an effective tool combat these issues. Canopy reflectance, measured by NDVI, commonly used differentiate turfgrass nitrogen...

The success of a total hip arthoplasty is linked to a long survival, and this one is obtained reducing the surfaces wearing. Polyethylene material was introduced by Sir John Charnley in the 60’s and has been until now the cartilage most similar material regarding the Young modulus, despite metal and ceramic ones. It has been also characterized by a good wear, especially nowadays the highly cros...

In this functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) study, we evaluated the effect of self-relevance on cerebral activity and behavioral performance during an incidental encoding task. Recent findings suggest that pleasantness judgments reliably induce self-oriented (internal) thoughts and increase default mode network (DMN) activity. We hypothesized that this increase in DMN activity would re...

Recently, the cortical source of blink-related delta oscillations (delta BROs) in resting healthy subjects has been localized in the posterior cingulate cortex/precuneus (PCC/PCu), one of the main core-hubs of the default-mode network. This has been interpreted as the electrophysiological signature of the automatic monitoring of the surrounding environment while subjects are immersed in self-re...

Relative to soluble N sources, controlled release fertilizer (CRF) fosters consistent turfgrass growth response and improved canopy quality while reducing loss as nitrate, ammonia, and/or N2O from target systems. Commercial CRFs afford managers greater operational efficiency flexibility in nutrient management planning compel the investigation of application rate thresholds guide regional agenci...

Pillar substitution in a long-known metal-organic material with saturated metal centres, [Cu(bipy)(2)(SiF(6))](n), has afforded the first crystallographically characterized porous materials based upon TiF(6)(2-) and SnF(6)(2-) anions as pillars. Gas adsorption studies revealed similar surface areas and adsorption isotherms but enhanced selectivity towards CO(2)vs. CH(4) and N(2).

CONTEXT Family conferences are conducted to assist with end-of-life discussions and discharge planning. OBJECTIVES This study describes the current practices of family conferences in palliative care units (PCUs) in France. METHODS A cross-sectional descriptive survey was sent to each PCU in France (n = 113). Members of the interdisciplinary health care team (palliative care physician, nurse...
