Let G = (V, E) be a graph. A function f : V → {−1,+1} defined on the vertices of G is a signed total dominating function if the sum of its function values over any open neighborhood is at least one. The signed total domination number of G, γ t (G), is the minimum weight of a signed total dominating function of G. In this paper, we study the signed total domination number of generalized Petersen...
Abstract. Let G = (V,E) be a simple graph. A function f : V → {−1, 1} is called an inverse signed total dominating function if the sum of its function values over any open neighborhood is at most zero. The inverse signed total domination number of G, denoted by γ0 st(G), equals to the maximum weight of an inverse signed total dominating function of G. In this paper, we establish upper bounds on...
The domatic number of a graph G, denoted dom(G), is the maximum possible cardinality of a family of disjoint sets of vertices of G, each set being a dominating set of G. It is well known that every graph without isolated vertices has dom(G) ≥ 2. For every k, it is known that there are graphs with minimum degree at least k and with dom(G) = 2. In this paper we prove that this is not the case if ...
We investigate the theoretical feasibility of near-optimal, distributed sleep scheduling in energyconstrained sensor networks with pairwise sensor redundancy. In this setting, an optimal sleep schedule is equivalent to an optimal fractional domatic partition of the associated redundancy graph. We present a set of realistic assumptions on the structure of the communication and redundancy relatio...
The problem of reconstructing signed permutations on n elements from their erroneous patterns distorted by reversal errors is considered in this paper.A reversal is the operation of taking a segment of the signed permutation, reversing it, and flipping the signs of its elements. The reversal metric is defined as the least number of reversals transforming one signed permutation into another. It ...
We complete the Wilf classification of signed patterns of length 5 for both signed permutations and signed involutions. New general equivalences of patterns are given which prove Jaggard’s conjectures concerning involutions in the symmetric group avoiding certain patterns of length 5 and 6. In this way, we also complete the Wilf classification of S5, S6, and S7 for involutions.
The total graph is built by joining the to its line means of incidences. We introduce a similar construction for signed graphs. Under two defnitions graph, we defne corresponding and show that it stable under switching. consider balance, frustration index number, largesteigenvalue. In regular case compute spectrum adjacency matrix spectra certain compositions, determine some with exactly main e...
Abstract: Let G=(V,E) be a graph and let f:V(G)→{0,1,2} be a function. A vertex v is protected with respect to f, if f(v)>0 or f(v)=0 and v is adjacent to a vertex of positive weight. The function f is a co-Roman dominating function, abbreviated CRDF if: (i) every vertex in V is protected, and (ii) each u∈V with positive weight has a neighbor v∈V with f(v)=0 such that the func...
