(مقاله صفحه 280-271) مقاله در باره کاربرد چکش اشمیت از نوع L, به منظور تعیین مقاومت تکمجوری سطوح ناپیوستگی تودههای سنگ بحث میکند. نتایج بررسیها نشان میدهد که اگر این چکش بر روی سطوح ناصاف ناپیوستگیها در شرایط مرطوب به کار برده شود, ضریب همبستگی بین قرائت چکش و مقاومت تکمحوری وجود نحواهد داشت.
