A new bidentate phosphoramidite (N-Me-BIPAM) based on Shibasaki's N-linked BINOL was synthesized. This ligand appears to be highly effective for rhodium-catalyzed asymmetric conjugated addition of arylboronic acids to α,β-unsaturated enones.
