Integrable discrete versions of aane spheres are constructed. It is shown that the underlying discrete Gauu-Codazzi equations reduce to an integrable discrete Tzitzeica system. A BB acklund transformation generating discrete aane spheres is obtained in a purely algebraic manner and an interpretation of the Gauu equations for discrete aane spheres in terms of loop groups is recorded.

Operator representations of the cross product ∗-algebra O(S2 qc)⋊Uq(su2) of the Hopf ∗-algebra Uq(su2) and its module ∗-algebras O(S2 qc) of Podles’ spheres are studied. Two classes of representations are described by explicit formulas for the actions of the generators.

Carbon reduction at the household level is an integral part of carbon mitigation. This study analyses the characteristics, effects, contributing factors and policies for urban household carbon emissions in the Yangtze River Delta of China. Primary data was collected through structured questionnaire surveys in three cities in the region--Nanjing, Ningbo, and Changzhou in 2011. The survey data wa...

This paper aims to numerically predict the capacitance of electric double layer capacitors (EDLCs) made of mesoporous electrodes consisting of closely packed monodispersed mesoporous carbon spheres in (C2H5)4NBF4/propylene carbonate electrolyte. The model faithfully accounts for the electrode packing morphology and the dependency of electrolyte dielectric permittivity on local electric field. T...

Lithium metal is an attractive anode material for rechargeable batteries, owing to its high theoretical specific capacity of 3,860mAhg−1. Despite extensive research e orts, there are still many fundamental challenges in using lithium metal in lithium-ion batteries. Most notably, critical information such as its nucleation and growth behaviour remains elusive. Here we explore the nucleation patt...

Carbon spheres were applied as templates to synthesize titanium dioxide hollow spheres. The purified with either ethanol or acetone, and the effects of this treatment on properties resulting titania investigated. photocatalytic activity catalysts was measured via decomposition phenol model pollutant under visible light irradiation. It found that solvent used for purification carbon had a surpri...

Effect of Nanofiller Shape on Effective Thermal Conductivity of Fluoropolymer Composites Report Title Filler particle size and shape influence interconnectivity within a polymer matrix and play a significant role in controlling the effective thermal conductivity of a composite. This study examines the effect of nanofiller particle shape in a polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE) matrix on thermal energ...
