In this paper we propose a framework for stability analysis of EA modulators, and argue that limit cycles for constant inputs are natural objects to investigate in this context. We present a number of analytical and approximate techniques to aid the stability analysis of the double loop and interpolative modulators, and use these techniques to propose ways of improved design that explicitly tak...

This paper presents a new technique in digital communications, called modelbased-predictive adaptive-delta-modulation (MBP-ADM). MBP-ADM uses system identification tools to identify a model of the signal which is used for prediction. The prediction helps the system to respond adaptively to a varying input signal, in order to achieve improved performance. The results show a substantial improveme...

We study the muon anomalous magnetic dipole moment in supersymmetric theories. The impact of the recent Brookhaven E821 experimental measurement on both modelindependent and model-dependent supersymmetric parameter spaces is discussed in detail. We find that values of tanβ as low as 3 can be obtained while remaining within the E821 one-sigma bound. This requires a light smuon; however, we show ...

The performance of various spatialization techniques is evaluated for a distributed audience using the nonideal speaker arrangements found in small concert halls. The methods under evaluation are Second Order Ambisonics, Vector Base Amplitude Panning, Delta Stereophony and Spat with B-format Ambisonics encoding. Each method is assessed in terms of its localization accuracy. The data is presente...

The state of classifier incongruence in decision making systems incorporating multiple classifiers is often an indicator of anomaly caused by an unexpected observation or an unusual situation. Its assessment is important as one of the key mechanisms for domain anomaly detection. In this paper, we investigate the sensitivity of Delta divergence, a novel measure of classifier incongruence, to est...

ABSTRACT Context Mash-ups are a new generation of Web-based applications which aggregate and stitch together third-party data. A mash-up usually comprises of unusual or innovative composition of content which is often collected or obtained from unrelated data sources. This data is then displayed in a format suitable for easy human consumption. This form of representation can often lead to comme...

Cascaded delta-sigma (MASH) converters offer a good compromise between high accuracy, robust stability and speed. However, they are very sensitive to analog circuit imperfections. This paper presents an improved adaptive on-line digital compensation of these errors. Behavioral and circuitlevel simulations have confirmed an achievable 13-bit performance and 6-MHz bandwidth for the proposed ADC.

A mathematically rigorous realization of Feynman integrals is given. The construction works for quadratic actions (there is only a restriction to certain time intervals). These techniques enable the calculation of the semi-classical approximation for a given Feynman prop-agator. Finally, delta sequences in Gaussian analysis are presented and their connection to semi-classical approximation is d...
