In order to design correctly an electrical machine it is necessary that the machine cooling to be efficient and to know the values and the temperature distribution in this (in the rotor). To determine the temperature distribution, a thermal equivalent circuit is used for the heat transfer of machine. The thermal equivalent circuit is analogous to electric circuit, in which heat is generated by ...
We consider a queuing network with M exponential service stations and with N customers. We study the behavior of a subsystem u, which has a single node as input and a single node as output, when the subsystem parameters are varied. An “equivalent” network is constructed in which all queues except those in subsystem u are replaced by a single composite queue. We show that for certain classes of ...
the object of this work is solubility correlation and prediction of co2 and h2s in various aqueous alkanolamines using the electrolyte cubic square-well equation of state (ecsw eos) [haghtalab, a.,mazloumi, s. h., (2009a), fluid phase equilib.,285,96-104]. the eeos systematically is applied to describe the solubility of acid gases in various alkanolamine solutions, including mdea, mea, dea, amp...
The article presents an analytical method for optimizing the geometry of magnetic core a three-phase compensation choke. describes process identification fringing fields and corresponding reluctances core, flux density calculation even in case supersaturation total losses estimation. It shows finding trade-off between size/weight inductor with respect to overall demonstrates their minimization....
The paper considers the application of scaling approach percola-tion theory to describe step-like change in electrical and thermal conductivi-ty polymer nanocomposites containing carbon nanotubes. In connection with use nano-sized fillers for creation composite materials, problem mathematical description behavior properties such systems at critical filling has arisen. increasing difficulty desc...
Holyoak and Thagard proposed that the retrieval and mapping tasks of analogy can be viewed as constraint satisfaction problems, and described a connectionist implementation of their proposal. In this paper, we describe another constraint satisfaction method for the two tasks in the context of visual analogy: in our method, the source cases are organized in a discrimination tree, and all the sou...

We survey the state of the art in the use of analogy in automated reasoning. We are particularly interested in the work of Melis and Whittle (1998). A detailed analysis of their analogy mechanism is given. The problem domain that they tackled is inductive theorems. We examine whether their technique can be used in other problems domains, e.g. in the domain of limit theorems and group theory.
