This paper describes an approximating solution, based on Lagrange interpolation and spline functions, to treat functional integral equations of Fredholm type and Volterra type. This method can be extended to functional differential and integro-differential equations. For showing efficiency of the method we give some numerical examples.
in this paper, some applications of the method of least squares (mls) for the solution of various problems in electromagnetics engineering is briefly reviewed. here, mls is employed for the solution of various problems such as solution of equations, curve fitting to measured data, generalized fourier coefficients, linear operator equations, inegro-differential equations, electrostatics and magn...
In this work, a large class of integro-differential equations, arising from the description heat transfer problems, is considered, particularly nonlinear equations. We propose procedure for constructing their solution in very simple and reliable way which only needed tool same one employed to solve linear second-order ordinary differential equation, subject Robin boundary conditions. Proofs con...
An integro-differential equation satisfied by an eigenvalue density defined as the logarithmic derivative of the average inverse characteristic polynomial of a Wilson loop in two dimensional pure Yang Mills theory with gauge group SU(N) is derived from two associated complex Burgers’ equations, with viscosity given by 1/(2N). The Wilson loop does not intersect itself and Euclidean space-time is...
In this paper, an effective numerical method is introduced for the treatment of nonlinear two-dimensional Volterra-Fredholm integro-differential equations. Here, we use the so-called two-dimensional block-pulse functions.First, the two-dimensional block-pulse operational matrix of integration and differentiation has been presented. Then, by using this matrices, the nonlinear two-dimensional Vol...
A new perturbation method called the homotopy perturbation method (HPM) [1 – 4] was proposed by Ji-Huan He in 1999, which is a coupling of the traditional perturbation method and homotopy in topology. The traditional perturbation methods are based on assuming a small parameter, and the approximate solutions obtained by those methods, in most cases, are valid only for small values of the small p...
The existence of solutions for a class nonlinear neutral Hadamard-type fractional integro-differential equations with infinite delay is researched in this paper. By constructing an appropriate normed space and utilizing the Banach contraction principle, Krasnoselskii’s fixed point theorem, we obtain some sufficient conditions solutions. Finally, provide example to illustrate validity our main r...
