Pre-neutron fragment-yield distributions are calculated for the U(n, f) and Pu(n, f) reactions using a time-dependent fully microscopic approach. These yields are calculated as a function of incident neutron energy from thermal to 5 MeV. We show that our calculations are in good agreement with experimental results, and competitive in accuracy with more phenomenological approaches. Further impro...

We show that the scaling procedure, recently proposed for the evaluation of the temperature variation of the normalized upper critical field of type-II superconductors, may easily be modified in order to take into account a possible temperature dependence of the Ginzburg-Landau parameter κ. As an example we consider κ(T ) as it follows from the microscopic theory of superconductivity.

For a better understanding of the dynamics of exotic nuclei it is of crucial importance to develop a practical microscopic theory easy to be applied to a wide range of masses. Theoretically the basic task consists in formulating an easy solvable theory able to reproduce structures and transitions of known nuclei which should be then used to calculate the sparely known properties of protonor neu...

introduction the morphologic features of human sperms are key indicators for monitoring fertility problems in men. therefore, automated analyzing methods via microscopic videos have become the most favorite policy in infertility treatment during the last decades. materials and methods in the proposed method, firstly a hypothesis testing framework was defined to distinguish sperms from backgroun...

Microscopic analysis is a standard approach in the study of robot behaviour. Typically, the approach comprises the analysis of a single (or sometimes a few) robotenvironment system(s) to reveal specific properties of robot behaviour. In contrast to microscopic analysis, macroscopic analysis focuses on averaged properties of systems. The advantage is that such a property is easier to generalise ...
