In the present paper, we give a common fixed point theorem for two weakly increasing mappings on ordered Hausdorff uniform spaces, using the distance p: Two multivalued versions of this result are also presented. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: Primary 54H25; Secondary 47H10

We show some sufficient conditions on a Banach space X concerning the generalized James constant, the generalized Jordan-von Neumann constant, the generalized Zbagănu constant, the coefficient ε̃0 X , the weakly convergent sequence coefficientWCS X , and the coefficient of weak orthogonality, which imply the existence of fixed points for multivalued nonexpansive mappings. These fixed point theor...

We establish fixed point theorems for multivalued mappings defined on a closed subset of a complete metric space. We generalize Lim’s result on weakly inward contractions in a Banach space. We also generalize recent results of Azé and Corvellec, Maciejewski, and Uderzo for contractions and directional contractions. Finally, we present local fixed point theorems and continuation principles for g...

The existence of nonzero solutions for a class of generalized variational inequalities is studied by fixed point index approach for multivalued mappings in finite dimensional spaces and reflexive Banach spaces. Some new existence theorems of nonzero solutions for this class of generalized variational inequalities are established.

We study relations between evidence theory and S-approximation spaces. Both theories have their roots in the analysis of Dempsterchr('39')s multivalued mappings and lower and upper probabilities, and have close relations to rough sets. We show that an S-approximation space, satisfying a monotonicity condition, can induce a natural belief structure which is a fundamental block in evidence theory...

In this paper, motivated by Khan et. al.[11], we use three-step iterative procedures with errors to approximate fixed point of multivalued quasinonexpansive mappings in uniformly Banach space and establish strong and weak convergence theorems for the proposed process. Our results extend important results. Mathematics Subject Classification: Primary 47H10; Secondary 47J25

Strong convergence of a new iterative process based on the Shrinking projection method to a common element of the set of common fixed points of an infinite family of relatively quasi-nonexpansive multivalued mappings and the solution set of an equilibrium problem in a Banach space is established. Our results improved and extend the corresponding results announced by many others.

Let P be a sub set of Banach space E and P is normal and regular cone on E; we generalize and obtain some sufficient conditions for the existence of common fixed point of multivalued mappings satisfying contractive type conditions in cone metric spaces. Our results unify, generalize and complement the comparable results from the current literature.

In this work, we define signed disjunctive programs and investigate the existence of answer sets for this class of programs. Our main argument is based on an analogue to Tarski-fixed point theorem which we prove for multivalued mappings. This is an original approach compared to known techniques used to prove the existence of answer sets for disjunctive programs.

Our results lead to new existence theorems for a system of ...
