Background and aims Overexposure to industrial noise pollution induce hearing loss workers. Occupational hearing loss may cause interference whit oral communication, so it may increase the risk of occupational accidents in workplace as well as affects whit social activities. This study was conducted on Lavan Island, are of oil extracting regions in the south of Iran. The object of this s...
The electronics industry has entered the era of multimillion-gate chips, and there is no turning back. This technology promises new levels of integration on a single chip, called the system-on-a-chip (SoC) design, but also presents significant challenges to the chip designers. Processing cores on a single chipmay number well into the high tens within the next decade, given the current rate of a...
large urban areas are facing growing problems of noise pollutions. geospatial information systems (gis) can conveniently be adapted to gather, analyze and present noise information. gis can also be extended to answer to user specific problems through deterministic and statistics models. the objectives of this research were to measure urban traffic noise levels, analyze temporal and spatial dyna...
Noise is essential for the existence of a liquid market, and if noise traders are not present in the market, the trade volume will drop severely and an important aspect of the market philosophy will be lost. However, these noise traders bring noise to the market, and the existence of noise in prices indicates a temporary deviation in prices from their fundamental values. In particular, high-fre...
Background & Aims of the Study: Noise is one of the most important environmental pollutants. It is a global health problem, especially among industrial workers. Since there was little information about noise levels in small workshops in Qom city, this study aimed to evaluate noise in small workshops and compare it with national standards. Materials and Methods: This was a cross-sectional stu...
Gossiping is an information dissemination problem in which each node of a communication network has a unique piece of information that must be transmitted to all the other nodes. A bus network is a network of processing elements that communicate by sending messages along buses in a sequence of calls. We assume that (i) each node can participate to at most one call at a time, (ii) a node can eit...
background and aim: auditory processing disorder and dyslexia have been reported by many studies as having high comorbidity. the purpose of the study was to investigate the effectiveness of central auditory processing rehabilitation program on speech reception in noise and dichotic listening in dyslexic students. the research was quasi-experimental, including a pretest, posttest and a control g...
A major departure from traditional VO systems, TNet is a new system area network designed to s"pp0rt current and future needs for reliable, efficient communications among processors and peripherals. It is an extensible hardware-software layer that allows very large configurations by logically and physically isolating processor buses from VO buses. TNet features wormhole routing, packet-switched...
We show that adding partitioned-buses (as opposed to long buses that span an entire row or column) to ordinary meshes can reduce the routing tame b y approximately one-third f o r permutation routing with locality. A matching time lower bound i s also proved. The result can be generalized to multi-packet routing.
Background: Educational centers have higher standards for controlling noise pollution as it has been shown that noise pollution is a major cause of discomfort for teachers and students. Noise pollution reduces concentration, interferes in the conversation, and leads to dropouts and lower grades especially in mathematics. The present study aimed to evaluate noise pollution in the schools ...
