The authors establish certain results concerning the quasi-Hadamard product of analytic and p-valent functions with negative coefficients analogous to the results due to Vinod Kumar (J. Math. Anal. Appl. 113(1986), 230-234 and 126(1987), 70-77).

By making use of the method of differential subordination, we investigate some properties of certain classes of p-valent meromorphic functions, which are defined by means of a certain operator .

We obtain certain simple sufficiency criteria for a class of p-valent alpha convex functions. Many known results appear as special consequences of our work. Some applications of our work to the generalized integral operator are also given.

Making use of a certain fractional calculus operator, we introduce two new subclasses Mδ(p;λ, μ, η) and Tδ(p;λ, μ, η) of analytic and p−valent functions in the open unit disk. The results investigated exhibit the sufficiency conditions for a function to belong to each of these classes. Several geometric properties of such multivalent functions follow, and these consequences are also mentioned.
