in this paper, using annular resonator we have designed an adding and dropping filter light based ontwo-dimensional photonic crystals. the shape of ring resonator filter adding and dropping that wehave proposed is race track. this filter has a hexagonal lattice structure of silicon bars withrefractive index 3/46 that is located in the context of air with refractive index 1. transmissionefficien...

It is shown that the cross-helicity effect facilitates rapid growth of the large scale magnetic field in young galaxies. This field then acts as a seed for the standard αΩ-type dynamo at later stages. This mechanism may be responsible for the relatively strong magnetic fields observed in young high redshift galaxies.

This paper presents experimental tests of several independence conditions implied by expected utility and alternative models. We perform repeated choice experiments and fit an error model that allows us to discriminate between true violations of independence and those that can be attributed to errors. In order to investigate the role of event splitting effects, we present each choice problem no...

We note the importance of considering differences across children’s age, gender, and race/ethnicity, and we identify key methodological challenge...

Background: Genetic analysis in mice has lead to find about maternal effect genes such as Filia. Filia knock out mice have a 50% decrease in fertility. Filia dysfunction causes disorders in pre-implantation development. Mutations in human Filia gene, cause FBHM (Familial Biparental Hydatidiform Mole) in women. Filia protein in mice is homologous to that of rat and human, so this idea has emerge...
