We present an algorithm taking a Kirby diagram of closed oriented $4$-manifold to trisection the same manifold. This provides us with large number examples for diagrams $4$-manifolds since many Kirby-diagrammatic descriptions are known. That being said, does not necessarily provide particularly efficient diagrams. also extend this work non-orientable case.

Methods for computing a confidence interval for the difference between two Pearson correlations are compared when dealing with non-normality and heteroscedasticity. Variations of a method derived by Zou performed relatively well in simulations for the dependent case. For the independent case, the Wilcox-Muska method performed best.
