On the basis of the concept of the interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets introduced by K. Atanassov, the notion of interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy subsemimodule of a semimodule with respect to t-norm T and s-norm S is given and the characteristic properties are described. The homomorphic image and inverse image are investigated. In particular, by the help of the congruence relations on...

Here we study the notions of lattice-valued finite state machine and lattice-valued fuzzy transformation semigroup when the lattice consists of all the closed subintervals contained in [0, 1]. So, we can apply techniques of interval-valued fuzzy sets to fuzzy automata. In particular, we prove that Atanassov’s Kα operators allow us to retrieve the information given by the transition functions of...

In this paper a knowledge representation model are proposed, FP5, which combine the ideas from fuzzy sets and penta-valued logic. FP5 represents imprecise properties whose accomplished degree is undefined, contradictory or indeterminate for some objects. Basic operations of conjunction, disjunction and negation are introduced. Relations to other representation models like fuzzy sets, intuitioni...

Bipolarity has not been much exploited in the spatial domain yet, although it has many features to manage imprecise and incomplete information that could be interesting in this domain. This paper is a first step to address this issue, and we propose to define mathematical morphology operations on bipolar fuzzy sets (or equivalently interval valued fuzzy sets or intuitionistic fuzzy sets).

in this work, we define a fuzzy soft set theory and its related properties. we then define fuzzy soft aggregation operator that allows constructing more efficient decision making method. finally, we give an example which shows that the method can be successfully applied to many problems that contain uncertainties.

This paper reviews and compares theories of fuzzy sets and rough sets. Two approaches for the formulation of fuzzy sets are reviewed, one is based on many-valued logic and the other is based on modal logic. Two views of rough sets are presented, set-oriented view and operator-oriented view. Rough sets under set-oriented view are closely related to fuzzy sets, which leads to non-truth-functional...

Abstract_ _ We prove a common coincidence point theorem for a non-fuzzy mapping and a pair of fuzzy mappings under a ' contraction condition on a metric space in the context of Hausdor¤ metric on the family of fuzzy sets. Further, we establish a common coincidence point theorem on a metric space with the d1 metric on fuzzy sets, which extends a number of recent results. As applications, we obta...

It is observed that the axioms for partial metrics with values in quantales coincide with the axioms for Q-sets (M -valued sets, sets with fuzzy equality, quantale-valued sets) for commutative quantales. Ω-sets correspond to the case of partial ultrametrics.

In this paper, we examine and compare De Morgan-, Kleene-, and Booleandisjunctive and conjunctive normal forms and consider their role in fuzzy settings. In particular, we describe normal forms and truth tables for classical fuzzy propositional logic and interval-valued fuzzy propositional logic that are completely analogous to those for Boolean propositional logic. Thus, determining logical eq...

Fuzzy valued measure ([7], [10], [3], [5]) is a natural generalization of a set valued measure ([6]). Infinite addition is defined ([12]) as a Zadeh’s extension principle of continuity. In [9], using an additive fuzzy valued measure, an integral of single valued function is defined and some basic properties are given. In this paper we proceed to investigate specific properties of integrals in f...
