In this paper we investigate the quantitative stability for Gagliardo-NirenbergSobolev inequalities. The main result is a reduction theorem, which states that, to solve the problem of the stability for the GNS inequalities, one can consider only the class of radial decreasing functions.

We show that it is possible to represent various descriptions of Quantum Mechanics in geometrical terms. In particular we start with the space of observables and use the momentum map associated with the unitary group to provide an unified geometrical description for the different pictures of Quantum Mechanics. This construction provides an alternative to the usual GNS construction for pure states.
We completely classify type III factor representations of CuntzKrieger algebras associated with quasi-free states up to unitary equivalence. Furthermore, we realize these representations on concrete Hilbert spaces without using GNS construction. Free groups and their type II1 factor representations are used in these realizations.
