Congenital diaphragmatic hernia generally presents with severe respiratory distress in the neonatal period and usually occurs once in every 2,000-3500 births. Microlight aircraft are increasingly becoming the most popular segment of private aviation. In the United Kingdom the majority (about 2500 of a total fleet of 3500) of these aircraft are of the weightshift class, also known as flexwings or trikes. This paper introduces the main issues involved in the design and operation of this class of aeroplane.

A fifty-two years old male presenting with a history of abdominal pain of six months duration was found on investigation to have a large non-functioning adrenal mass. Adrenal myelolipoma was diagnosed preoperatively and surgical resection was carried out. Only a small number of cases of giant adrenal myelolipoma (>3500 grams) have been reported. A brief review of literature is done.
