We study strange dibaryons based on the SU(2)-embedded B = 2 toroidal soliton. Treating the excursions of the soliton into strange directions as small rigid oscillations, we obtain a good approximation to the bound state approach. We calculate the dibaryon mass formula to order 1/N and find that the doubly strange I = J = 0 dibaryon is bound by about 90MeV.

In this talk, after briefly reviewing some historical remarks concerning strange stars, the achievements in physics and dynamical behavior of strange stars are discussed. Especially, various observational effects in distinguishing strange stars from neutron stars such as mechanical effects, cooling effects, phase transition and related interesting phenomena are stressed.

We study chaotic maps with multiple coexisting strange attractors and show how such systems can be controlled. To this end, a control scheme is proposed which is capable of stabilizing a desired motion within one strange attractor as well as taking the system dynamics from one strange attractor to another. To demonstrate the given control scheme, several examples are considered.

The mass-radius relations for bare and crusted strange stars are calculated with bag model. Comparing these relations with the observed one derived from redshift, we address that the conclusions, that EXO 0748-676 can not be a strange star, is incorrect.
