In the present article, we study conjecture of Sharifi on surjectivity map $\varpi_{\theta}$. Here $\theta$ is a primitive even Dirichlet character conductor $Np$, which exceptional in sense Ohta. After localizing at prime ideal $\mathfrak{p}$ Iwasawa algebra related to trivial zero Kubota\textendash Leopoldt $p$-adic $L$-function $L_p(s,\theta^{-1}\omega^2)$, compute image $\varpi_{\theta,\mat...

Euphoric or hedonic theta hypersynchrony appears to be an unusual finding in the electroencephalography of the child, and it has been rarely reported. This case report presents a 4-year-old child who responded to pleasurable stimulation with a robust, diffuse theta activity, and also samples some of the thoughts that such a response can generate. [Published with video sequences].

aging has negative effects on motor and cognitive functions, so it is essential to identify appropriate strategies to prevent the decrease of motor and cognitive functions. the aim of this research was to investigate the effect of vitamin e supplement on motor activity and spatial learning in aged rats. 36 male albino – wistar aged rats were assigned to three groups of control, vitamin e and sh...

This study investigated behavioral, anatomical and electrophysiological effects produced by electrical stimulation of posterior hypothalamic (PH) or median raphe (MR) nuclei, independently and during combined stimulation of both PH and MR. These three stimulation conditions were applied during spontaneous behavior in an open field and during PH stimulation-induced wheel running, while simultane...

The hippocampal theta rhythm is a prominent oscillation in the field potential observed throughout the hippocampus as a rat investigates stimuli in the environment. A recent computational model [Hasselmo, M. E., Bodelon, C., & Wyble, B. P. (2002a). A proposed function for hippocampal theta rhythm: separate phases of encoding and retrieval enhance reversal of prior learning. Neural Computation, ...

Our fundamental result is the construction of new subvarieties in the varieties of power sums for the Scorza quartic of any general pairs of trigonal curves and non-effective theta characteristics. This is a generalization of Mukai’s description of smooth prime Fano threefolds of genus twelve as the varieties of power sums for plane quartics. Among other applications, we give an affirmative ans...

The isoforms of the highly conserved and ubiquitously expressed 14-3-3 family of proteins function primarily as adapters that modulate interactions between components of various cellular signaling and cell cycle regulatory pathways. Low levels of 14-3-3 isoforms appear to be expressed in most tissues, but specific isoforms or combinations have been shown to be overexpressed in a cell-specific m...

This paper began as an attempt to understand the Euclidean lattices that were recently constructed (using the theory of elliptic curves) by Elkies [E] and Shioda [Sh I, Sh2], from the point of view of group representations. The main idea appears in a note of Thompson [Th2]: if one makes strong irreducibility hypotheses on a rational representation V of a finite group G, then the G-stable Euclid...

First published May 11, 2010; doi:10.1152/jn.00358.2011.— The function of hippocampal theta oscillations has been subjected to constant speculation. Dynamic coupling of theta field potentials and spiking activity between the hippocampus and extra-...
