We present an overview of the research on realtime networking in the Hard-Real-Time Systems research group at the department of Computer Systems, Uppsala University. This includes a presentation of the general motivation and goals, as well as results and plans. On a more technical level, we present our method for providing timing guarantees in ATM-networks.
