Six new species of the planthopper genus Usana, U. aspergilliformis sp. nov., U. concava sp. nov., U. congjiangensis sp. nov., U. fissura sp. nov., U. oblongincisa sp. nov. and U. unispina sp. nov. are described and illustrated from China. A checklist, a key to all species of the genus and illustrations of U. lineolalis Distant, 1906 are also given.

This paper deals with the genus Trachypeplus from China. Nine species of Trachypeplus are treated in this paper, of which three species, namely Trachypeplus depressus sp. nov., Trachypeplus jingae sp. nov., and Trachypeplus parafulgoris sp. nov., are described as new. These nine species are photographed and keyed.

The genus Naevus Knight, 1970 is recorded from the mountains of southwestern Saudi Arabia, the first record from the Arabian Peninsula. A new species, Naevus hathali El-Sonbati & Wilson sp. n. is described here, which appears to have an asymmetric aedeagus. An illustrated key to Naevus species is presented to facilitate identification.

Xynotingis hoytana Drake, 1948 and Zeiratingis hainanensis sp. nov. are recorded from China (Hainan Island). Species of both genera are very rarely collected. This represents the first record of both genera in this country. The new species is described. Illustrations of the involved species are provided as well as a key to the species of the genus Zeiratingis.
