Multiple-valued logics are useful for dealing with uncertainty and imprecision in knowledge-based systems. In this paper, we present the foundations of QMORPH: a tool that assists users in the declaration of such logics and in the declaration of the communication mechanism between two of these different logics by preserving inference.
Spend your time even for only few minutes to read a book. Reading a book will never reduce and waste your time to be useless. Reading, for some people become a need that is to do every day such as spending time for eating. Now, what about you? Do you like to read a book? Now, we will show you a new book enPDFd foundations of intelligent knowledge based systems that can be a new way to explore t...
The paper introduces a task model for the redesign of compositional knowledge-based systems based on a generic task model of design. A generic task model of design provides an abstract description of a design task and a generic structure which can be refined for design tasks in specific domains of application. A generic task model of design, shown to incorporate redesign, is presented and refin...
The National Institute for Standards and Technology sponsored a workshop in October, 2007, on the subject of ontology evaluation. An international group of invited experts met for two days to discuss problems in measuring ontology quality. The workshop highlighted several divisions among ontology developers regarding approaches to ontology evaluation. These divisions were generally reflective o...
The (neo-)evolutionary model of a Triple Helix of University-Industry-Government Relations focuses on the overlay of expectations, communications, and interactions that potentially feed back on the institutional arrangements among the carrying agencies.
