This paper compares the variational iteration method (VIM) with the Adomian decomposition method (ADM) for solving nonlinear integrodifferential equations. From the computational viewpoint, the VIM is more efficient, convenient and easy to use.

In this paper an efficient modification of the Adomian decomposition method is presented by using Chebyshev polynomials. The proposed method can be applied to linear and non-linear models.
