We are concerning with a nonlinear Hammerstein quadratic integral equation. We prove the existence of at least one positive solution x ∈ L1 under Carathèodory condition. Secondly we will make a link between Peano condition and Carathèodory condition to prove the existence of at least one positive continuous solution. Finally the existence of the maximal and minimal solutions will be proved.
In this article, the contraction mapping principle and Liapunov’s method are used to study qualitative properties of nonlinear Volterra equations of the form x(t) = a(t)− ∫ t 0 C(t, s)g(s, x(s)) ds, t ≥ 0. In particular, the existence of bounded solutions and solutions with various L properties are studied under suitable conditions on the functions involved with this equation.
In this paper, we study the existence of generalized solutions for the infinite dimensional nonlinear stochastic differential inclusions $dx(t) in F(t,x(t))dt +G(t,x(t))dW_t$ in which the multifunction $F$ is semimonotone and hemicontinuous and the operator-valued multifunction $G$ satisfies a Lipschitz condition. We define the It^{o} stochastic integral of operator set-valued stochastic pr...
Upper and lower bounds for the norm of solutions of systems of first order differential equations as well as theorems on global existence and boundedness and other useful results have recently been obtained by comparing solutions of the given system with those of a related (single) first order differential equation. This technique, which is essentially due to Conti [5] and Wintner [9], has been...
In the paper we investigate solvability of nonlinear optimal Thermal and Diffusion processes control problems defined by semi-linear parabolic equations when the source function nonlinearly depends on the controlling parameters, and nonlinear integral criterion of quality is minimized. We obtained the sufficient conditions of uniqueness of the solution of the boundary value problem and the adjo...
The well-known Kantorovich technique based on majorizing sequences is used to analyse the convergence of Newton’s method when it is used to solve nonlinear Fredholm integral equations. In addition, we obtain information about the domains of existence and uniqueness of a solution for these equations. Finally, we illustrate the above with two particular Fredholm integral equations.
We analyze the polynomial solutions of a nonlinear integral equation, generalizing the work of C. Bender and E. Ben-Naim. We show that, in some cases, an orthogonal solution exists and we give its general form in terms of kernel polynomials.
A numerical method for solving nonlinear Fredholm-Volterra integral equations is presented. The method is based upon Lagrange functions approximations. These functions together with the Gaussian quadrature rule are then utilized to reduce the Fredholm-Volterra integral equations to the solution of algebraic equations. Some examples are included to demonstrate the validity and applicability of t...
Compactly supported linear semiorthogonal B-spline wavelets together with their dual wavelets are developed to approximate the solutions of nonlinear Fredholm-Hammerstein integral equations. Properties of these wavelets are first presented; these properties are then utilized to reduce the computation of integral equations to some algebraic equations. The method is computationally attractive, an...
In this paper, we investigate some nonlinear delay integral inequalities and their analogues which provide explicit bounds on unknown functions. The inequalities given here can be used as tools in the qualitative theory of certain delay differential equations, delay integral equations and delay difference equations.
