An uncommon consequence of intracranial vascular disease is the intramural dissection of blood or "dissecting aneurysm". A 69-year-old man with chronic subarachnoid hemorrhage from a posterior fossa mass lesion and a 30-year-old man with migraine and a brain stem stroke illustrate the diverse etiologic, clinical, radiographic, and pathologic characteristics of this unusual lesion.

The case of a 34-year-old man with a fast growing hard lump on the fourth digit of the right hand is presented. Radiography and MRI of the finger showed the radiologic characteristics of a bizarre parosteal osteochondromatous proliferation. Pathologic analysis confirmed the radiologic diagnosis.

Acrospiroma, also known as hidradenoma, is a rare cutaneous tumor that has several histological characteristics. As a consequence, a high index of suspicion is necessary for its diagnosis. Here we report a case that illustrates the importance of a good clinical-pathologic correlation in order to recognize this disease.

Lymphoma is hard to be diagnosed without an exact pathologic evidence. Eosinophilia might be one of its signs. However, some other clinical characteristics such as special contact history, pulmonary infiltrates, and the effectiveness of prednisone treatment could mislead our diagnosis. Here we report a case of lymphoma accompanied with pulmonary infiltrates and clinical feature of eosinophilia.

The authors review anatomical, clinical characteristics and prevalence of thyroid microcarcinoma. Diagnostic procedures and risk factors of aggressiveness at diagnosis and during follow-up are also covered. The possible clinical, pathologic and therapeutic risk factors are analyzed by meta-analysis study. Treatment procedures by different authors and guidelines suggested by societies are reported.
