The modular catalysts were fabricated via the combination of the Ni-MgO-Al2O3 mixed oxide nanoplates and the mesoporous SiO2 coating. Due to the dual confinements, the catalysts show high catalytic activity with enhanced coke- and sintering-resistance in the dry reforming of methane reaction.
One-, two- and three-dimensional nanostructures of copper molybdenum oxide hydroxide were successfully constructed by a simple approach through a pH-dependent dimensional transformation of ammonium copper molybdate. Thin nanoplates of copper molybdate, which were obtained by sintering the two-dimensional nanobelts of copper molybdenum oxide hydroxide, exhibited remarkably high reversible lithiu...
Two new antimony telluride single source precursors (SSPs), Ph2SbTeR (R = Et, Ph), have been used to synthesise pure and defect free hexagonal Sb2Te3 nanoplates by thermal decomposition in an organic solvent. The chemical composition of the SSPs plays an important role in the formation of antimony telluride nanocrystals.
In the modern literature, there are practically no data on electrical characteristics of bituminous binders modified with carbon nanotubes and graphene nanoplates, while they necessary for design development innovative asphalt pavement compositions sensitive to super-high-frequency microwave radiation. Contemporary multi-component systems that may contain polymers, rubbers, synthetic or natural...
In this article, finite difference method (FDM) is used to solve sixth-order derivatives of differential equations in buckling analysis of nanoplates due to coupled surface energy and non-local elasticity theories. The uniform temperature change is used to study thermal effect. The small scale and surface energy effects are added into the governing equations using Eringen’s non-local elasticity...

Subject to the assumption that sub-barrier fusion is described by an effective one-dimensional energy-independent local potential barrier, the Jeffreys-Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin approximation for the fusion cross sections is inverted to determine this effective potential. Potential barriers, with their associated experimental errors, are presented for 13C+ 13C and 40Ca+ 40Ca, and the assumption...
