Graph-Partitioning problems occur in a wide range of applications. The task is to divide the vertices of a graph in equally sized parts such that as few edges as possible are crossing the boundaries. The calculation of an optimal result is NP-complete. We show a new strategy to derive upper bounds on the bisection width of graphs with regular degree. It gives optimal upper bounds for very small...

This paper investigates the utility of weighted Birkhoff average (WBA) for distinguishing between regular and chaotic orbits flows, extending previous results that applied WBA to maps. It is shown can be super-convergent flows when dynamics phase space function are smooth, conjugate a rigid rotation with Diophantine vector. The dependence accuracy on orbit length width weight investigated. In p...

Temporal bone chondroblastoma is an extremely rare benign bone tumor. We encountered two cases showing similar imaging findings on computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and dual-time-point 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (18F-FDG) positron emission tomography (PET)/CT. In both cases, CT images revealed temporal bone defects and sclerotic changes around the tumor. Most parts of the ...

in [1,2,3], a. c. baker and j.w. baker studied the subspace ma(s) of the convolution measure algebra m, (s) of a locally compact semigroup. h. dzinotyiweyi in [5,7] considers an analogous measure space on a large class of c-distinguished topological semigroups containing all completely regular topological semigroups. in this paper, we extend the definitions to study the weighted semigroup algeb...

This paper investigates the solvability, existence and uniqueness of solutions for a class of nonlinear fractional hybrid differential equations with Hilfer fractional derivative in a weighted normed space. The main result is proved by means of a fixed point theorem due to Dhage. An example to illustrate the results is included.

In this paper we propose an extension to weighted finite-state transducers in order to enable them to model context-free grammars. Classical finite-state transducers are restricted to modeling regular grammars. However, for some tasks it is necessary to use more general context-free grammars. Even some regular grammar models can be scaled down using context-free rules. The paper extents the tra...

We show how parsing of trees can be formalized in terms of the intersection of two tree languages. The focus is on weighted regular tree grammars and weighted tree adjoining grammars. Potential applications are discussed, such as parameter estimation across formalisms.

We associate to a regular system of weights a weighted projective line over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero in two different ways. One is defined as a quotient stack via a hypersurface singularity for a regular system of weights and the other is defined via the signature of the same regular system of weights. The main result in this paper is that if a regular system of weig...
