Abstract In this work, we prove the weak convergence of a one-step self-adaptive algorithm to solution sum two monotone operators in 2-uniformly convex and uniformly smooth real Banach spaces. We give numerical examples infinite-dimensional spaces compare our result with some existing algorithms. Finally, results extend complement several literature.

We discuss weak limit theorems for a uniformly negligible triangular array (u.n.t.a.) in Z = [0,∞) × [0,∞) as well as for the associated with it sum and extremal processes on an open subset S. The complement of S turns out to be the explosion area of the limit Poisson point process. In order to prove our criterion for weak convergence of the sum processes we introduce and study sum processes ov...

We find a necessary and sufficient condition for the Ruelle operator of a weakly Hölder continuous potential on a topologically mixing countable Markov shift to act with spectral gap on some rich Banach space. We show that the set of potentials satisfying this condition is open and dense for a variety of topologies. We then analyze the complement of this set (in a finer topology) and show that ...

Recent weak lensing observations have pushed the use of 4 meter-class telescopes to the limits of their capabilities with exposure times exceeding several hours. The leading idea is that the surface density of faint galaxies up to very faint magnitude (B > 28−30) raises continuously thus potentially offering a dense template of distant sources whose intensity contrast is at the sky noise level....

CKM theory has scored novel successes recently, namely vindication of weak univer-sality and its first decisive test in CP studies. While this does not weaken the case for New Physics, one cannot count on the latter to induce large discrepancies in future studies. To establish smallish deviations one needs precise predictions; those in turn require accurate CKM parameters. I list strategies for...

We compare GW150914 directly to simulations of coalescing binary black holes in full general relativity, including several performed specifically to reproduce this event. Our calculations go beyond existing semianalytic models, because for all simulations – including sources with two independent, precessing spins – we perform comparisons which account for all the spin-weighted quadrupolar modes...

The physiological roles of the factor H (FH)-related proteins are controversial and poorly understood. Based on genetic studies, FH-related protein 5 (CFHR5) is implicated in glomerular diseases, such as atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome, dense deposit disease, and CFHR5 nephropathy. CFHR5 was also identified in glomerular immune deposits at the protein level. For CFHR5, weak complement regula...
