In 1879 Norman described Spencebatea abyssicola, new genus, new species, on the basis of a single specimen from a deep-sea site off Ireland. An annotated list of tree species the family Himantariidae Bollman, 1893 known from Kyrgyzstan is given. Two genera, Bothriogaster Sseliwanoff, 1879 and Polyporogaster Verhoeff, 1899, two species, B. signata (Kessler, 1874) P. porosa (Sseliwanoff, 1881), are recorded this country for first time.
