ELSO General Guidelines for ECLS Cases 2017年度版では、ECMO回路保管期間は回路充填後30日間までが推奨されている。しかし、多孔質ポリプロピレン中空糸を支持体としたシリコーン膜を用いた人工肺を含むECMO回路における検討はなされておらず、日本の基準は存在しない。そこで、多孔質ポリプロピレン中空糸を支持体としたシリコーン膜を用いた人工肺を含むECMO回路30日間保管における無菌性および人工肺性能維持の評価を実施した。ECMO回路を未充填状態で保管するドライ群（n＝5）と、プライミング充填状態で保管するウェット群（n＝5）に群分けした。細菌検査として、BHI培地による細菌培養評価およびエンドトキシン評価を実施した。また、人工肺性能評価として、酸素移動量、二酸化炭素移動量、圧力損失を評価した。
