This paper presents a new common-mode stabilization method for a CMOS differential cascode Class-E power amplifier with LCtank based driver stage. The stabilization method is based on the identification of the poles and zeros of the closed-loop transfer function at a critical node. By adding a series resistor at the common-gate node of the cascode transistor, the right-half-plane poles are move...

Controlling an optical beam is fundamental in optics. Recently, unique manipulation of optical wavefronts has been successfully demonstrated by metasurfaces. However, these artificially engineered nanostructures have thus far been limited to operate on light beams propagating out-of-plane. The in-plane operation is critical for on-chip photonic applications. Here, we demonstrate an anomalous ne...

This paper proposes a new concept for the evaluation of fatigue damage parameters. It is suggested that may not necessarily be confined to single plane, i.e., critical plane. Rather, it here culmination crack on particular plane(s) due contributions all planes. Mathematically, polar sum calculated as area enclosed by curve parameter. The proposed examined using multiaxial experimental data six ...

In this paper, we present a survey on management mechanisms used for ensuring the Quality-of-Services for Voice-over-IP applications. We first address the motivations of QoS management for VoIP. We then partition the system into two management planes: data plane and control plane, and describe mechanisms in each plane respectively. In data plane, we cover several important techniques including ...

Energy efficiency is considered as a critical requirement for wireless sensor networks. As more wireless sensor nodes are equipped with multi-cores, there are emerging needs for energy-efficient real-time scheduling algorithms. The T-L plane-based scheme is known to be an optimal global scheduling technique for periodic real-time tasks on multi-cores. Unfortunately, there has been a scarcity of...

A planar portrait of a manifold is the pair of the image and the critical values of the manifold through a stable map into the plane. It can be considerd a geometric representation of the manifold drawn in the plane. The cusped fan is its basic local configuration. In this article, we focus on the fibreing structure over the cusped fan, and give its characterisation. As application, planar port...

This paper presents a strategy to predict the lifetime of rails subjected to large rolling contact loads that induce ratchetting strains in the rail head. A critical element concept is used to calculate the number of loading cycles needed for crack initiation to occur in the rail head surface. In this technique the finite element method (FEM) is used to determine the maximum equivalent ratchett...

We show that any compact, connected set K in the plane can be approximated by the critical points of a polynomial with two critical values. Equivalently, K can be approximated in the Hausdorff metric by a true tree in the sense of Grothendieck’s dessins d’enfants. Mathematics Subject Classification 30C62

The critical state of the vortex lattice in a thin strip is considered for the case when first a perpendicular magnetic field is applied, then a longitudinal field, and then again the perpendicular field is increased. This longitudinal field can strongly enhance the critical currents in the strip since the vortices are inclined and the currents flow in the strip plane.

A characterization of critical sets and their images for suitable proper Whitney functions in the plane is given. More precisely, necessary and suucient conditions are provided for the existence of proper Whitney extensions F of f : C ! R 2 such that C is the critical set of F. This result relies strongly on theorems of Blank and Troyer.
