The paper deals with the modeling and identification of the gravity compensators used in heavy industrial robots. The main attention is paid to the geometrical parameters identification and calibration accuracy. To reduce impact of the measurement errors, the design of calibration experiments is used. For nonlinear control systems, we consider the problem of dynamic feedback linearization. In particular, for a restricted class of dynamic compensators that correspond to adding chains of integrators to the inputs, we give an upper bound for the order of the compen-sator that needs to be considered. Moreover, in the case of 2-input systems, we show that this bound is sharp.
The article describes the design of a synchronous compensator with biaxial excitation and its automatic control system. In addition, issues ensuring required voltage level at fixed points using compensators were considered. U-shaped characteristic generator was obtained.
