An 8-month-old common marmoset (Callithrix jacchus) was presented with tic-like symptoms, and a 2-year-old pigmy marmoset (Callithrix pygmaea) was presented with dyspnea and hypersalivation. Both monkeys died within a few days, and necropsies were performed. Histopathological examinations revealed ulcerative stomatitis with epithelial cell swelling and eosinophilic intranuclear inclusion bodies...

BACKGROUND The family of zinc finger-containing GATA transcription factors plays critical roles in cell lineage specification during early embryonic development and organ formation. GATA4 and GATA6 were found to be frequently lost in ovarian cancer, and the loss is proposed to account for dedifferentiation of the cancer cells. METHODOLOGY/PRINCIPAL FINDINGS We further investigated the express...

BACKGROUND The assessment of neoplastic disease in gynaecological histopathology can be complicated by the high incidence of metaplasia seen in tissues of the female genital tract. There is a need to identify specific tissue markers which can be applied in routine histopathological practice. AIM To examine the clinical potential of a monoclonal antibody, LhS28, which reacts with basal bodies ...

OBJECTIVE LGR5 is pivotal to oral cavity development and is implicated in epithelial malignancy whereby stimulation of LGR5 potentiates canonical Wnt signaling. This investigation tested our hypothesis of a correlation between LGR5 expression and the severity of oral epithelial dysplasia (OED) and oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). STUDY DESIGN Immunoreactive LGR5 protein expression was qua...

Subcutaneous nodules of the scalp are common and usually benign. We describe a case that presented as a probable inclusion cyst or lipoma of the scalp that was discovered to be a benign osteolytic fibrohistiocytic lesion of the frontoparietal skull. This ultimately was successfully treated by neurosurgery with a craniectomy, tumor excision, and reconstructive cranioplasty.

Inclusion analysis is the name given by Operis to a black box testing technique that it has found to make the checking of key financial ratios calculated by spreadsheet models quicker, easier and more likely to find omission errors than code inspection. 1 CALCULATE MORE THAN ONCE One approach among many [Pryor, 2004] [Panko, 2006] for improving the chance that a spreadsheet delivers the results...
