農業は，自然環境から影響を受けやすく，収量や労働時間等の農業生産指標に異常値が出やすい．さらに，それらの指標の分布が対称になるとは限らない．農業生産管理では，本来の値と呼べる標準値として，最頻値を把握することが望ましい．しかし，ヒストグラムを作成して計算される通常の最頻値計算法には深刻な問題があることが先行研究で指摘されている．通常の最頻値は「端点」の決め方次第で変動し，一意的でない．ヒストグラムを用いない最頻値計算法としてコア中央値等があるものの，これらにも問題点がある．そこで，ヒストグラムを用いない最頻値計算法として，鍾形頻度最頻値を推定する方法を新たに考案した．本論文では，数理計画法の枠組みのもとで，2次関数が含まれる頻度関数を最大化する問題として，鍾形頻度最頻値を推定するための混合整数非線形計画モデルを構築した．さらに，考案した方法を各種のデータへ実際に適用し，適用にあたって...
