Independent sets play an important role in matroid theory. In this paper, the definitions of pre-independent fuzzy set system and independent fuzzy set system in L-fuzzy setting are presented. Independent M-fuzzifying set system is introduced and some of its properties are discussed. Further independent (L,M)-fuzzy set system is given and some of its properties are obtained. The relations of th...

In this paper, an improvement of the nearest trapezoidal approximation operator preserving the expected interval is studied, which is proposed by Grzegorzewski and Mrówka. A formula for computing the improved approximation is presented. Moreover, the nearest triangular approximation operator preserving the expected interval is also investigated. © 2007 Elsevier B.V. Overlap functions are a type of aggregation that not required to be associative, generally used indicate the overlapping degree between two values. They have been successfully as conjunction operator in several practical problems, such fuzzy-rule-based classification systems (FRBCSs) and image processing. Some extensions overlap were recently proposed, general and, interval-valued context, <ita...

Abstract In this article we study dynamical behaviour of generic Lebesgue measure-preserving interval maps. We show that for each k ⩾ 1 the set periodic points period at least is a Cantor Hausdorff dimension zero and upper box one. Moreover, obtain analogous results also in context circle Furthermore, building on former results, there dense collection transitive maps whose have full measure pos...

A b s t r a c t . We consider transformations (performed by general recursive operators) mapping recursive functions into recursive functions. These transformations can be considered as mapping sets of recursive functions into sets of recursive functions. A transformation is said to be preserving the identification type I, if the transformation always maps/-identifiable sets into/-identifiable ...

This work presents a new methodology to obtain probabilistic interval predictions of dynamical system. The proposed strategy uses stored past system measurements estimate the future evolution method relies on use dissimilarity functions conditional probability density function outputs. A family empirical functions, parameterized by means two scalars, is introduced. It shown that encompasses mul...
