In Feb. 2007, we presented a proposal to test applications and the CHEETAH control-plane solution on the HOPI testbed. We also proposed to implement a software program called a “Force-10 virtualizer,” which would allow multiple control-plane and/or management-plane modules to simultaneously control the data-plane resources of the Force10 switches. We show the flexibility of the Clonal Mosaic model as a pattern generation mechanism. The coat patterns are generated directly on the 3D mesh representing the animals. We illustrate the flexibility of the model generating two visually distinct species of cheetah with a small change in the parameters of the simulation.
