We determine the shape of large densest periodic packings of spheres with diierent radii. The density is measured by parametric density and the density deviation, which measures the average diierence between the density of nite and innnite packings. The asymptotic shapes are the Wull{ shapes, which are polytopes and good models for crystal shapes.

We introduce a powerful non-parametric image labeling framework, Regression Tree Fields (RTFs), and discuss its application to image restoration. The conditional structure and the parameters of our model are estimated from training data so as to directly optimize for popular performance measures, resulting in excellent predictive performance at low computational cost.

In the present communication, the existing measures of fuzzy entropy are reviewed. A generalized parametric exponential fuzzy entropy is defined.Our study of the four essential and some other properties of the proposed measure, clearly establishes the validity of the measure as an entropy. We have considered one parametric generalization of the nonsymmetric relative J-divergence measure. The generalized measure is shown belonging to the Csiszár’s f-divergence class. Further, we have derived bounds for the generalized measure in terms of well known divergence measures.
