In this paper we study the algebraic and geometric structure of the space of compactly supported biorthogonal wavelets. We prove that any biorthogonal wavelet matrix pair (which consists of the scaling lters and wavelet lters) can be factored as the product of primitive parau-nitary matrices, a pseudo identity matrix pair, an invertible matrix, and the canonical Haar matrix. Compared with the f...

The lattice Ì of lambda theories is isomorphic to the congruence lattice of the term algebra of the minimal lambda theory ¬. This remark is the starting point for studying the structure of Ì by universal algebraic methods. In this paper we show that Ì satisfies nontrivial lattice quasi-identities, while we conjecture that Ì does not satisfy any nontrivial lattice identity (a lattice identity is...

From long ago, square has been considered as a space for performing area of cities, and it has been a factor determining the identity of cities through its design and structures. However, with the growth of cities and arrival of modernity management challenges are facing cities. Accordingly, cities have gradually changed into a place for predicting different types of technological, conceptual...

+ 2 2 2 2 2 2 n n and a maximum possible algebraic degree of n − 1. Moreover, we present a detailed study on the Walsh spectra of these functions. Next we study the autocorrelation values of correlation immune and resilient Boolean functions. We provide new lower bounds and related results on the absolute indicator and sum of square indicator of autocorrelation values for low orders of correlat...

The Weil pairing of two element from the torsion of the Jacobian of an algebraic curve may be given by a product of local Hilbert symbols of two special idèles associated to the torsion elements of the Jacobian. On the other hand Arbarello, de Concini and Kac have constructed some central extension of the group of idèles on an algebraic curve, in which the commutator is also equal up to sign to...

Boolean functions used in stream ciphers should have many cryptographic properties in order to help resist different kinds of cryptanalytic attacks. The resistance of Boolean functions against fast algebraic attacks is an important cryptographic property. Deciding the resistance of an n-variable Boolean function against fast algebraic attacks needs to determine the rank of a square matrix of or...

–The stability testing of first quadrant quarter-plane (QP) two dimensional recursive digital filters had been a classical problem for the last two decades. In literature, the two major types of stability testing methods available are algebraic and mapping methods. Even though the algebraic methods can determine the stability in finite number of steps, it has a few practical limitations in its ...

Background & Aims: The formation of identity is influenced by interpersonal and acquired factors. In this regard, higher education can provide an opportunity for the formation of a stable identity and a framework for decision-making and problem-solving. The question now arises, is there an association between exposure to clinical field in training courses and identity styles of students?. hence...

France We study the properties of a quarter-filled system of electrons on a square lattice interacting through a local repulsion U and a nearest-neighbour repulsion V in the limit V = +∞. We identify the ground-state for U large enough and show that domain walls appear below a critical value U c = 4t/π. We argue that this corresponds to a metal-insulator transition due to Mott localization.
