The Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) sensor is used to detect the temperature of the high voltage cable. The temperature measurement system is constructed and the functions of each part of the system is stated in detail. This temperature measurement systems presented in this paper is usefull for the operation of the power cable.

OBJECTIVE Measurement of rectal temperature is the most common method and considered gold standard for obtaining body temperature in dogs. So far, no study has been performed comparing agreement between rectal and auricular measurements in a large case series. The purpose of the study was to assess agreement between rectal and auricular temperature measurement in normothermic, hypothermic, and ...

INTRODUCTION It is important to monitor the core temperature in a severely injured patient. The choice of method is controversial, and different thermometers and sites for measurement are used. The aim of this study was to investigate continuous epitympanic temperature measurement using an auditory canal sensor in potentially severely injured patients and to compare this method with other commo...

We monitored oxygen consumption (VO2), body temperatures (Tb), submersion intervals, and circadian rhythms of VO2 in nine loggerhead turtles during a 6-mo period. The turtles originated from the Tyrhennian Sea, South Italy (40 degrees 51'N, 14 degrees 17'E) and were kept in indoor tanks at constant photoperiod while being subject to the seasonal decline in water temperature (Tw=27.1 degrees to ...
