This paper is concerned with learning categorial grammars in the model of Gold. We show that rigid and k-valued non-associative Lambek grammars are learnable from function-argument structured sentences. In fact, function-argument structures are natural syntactical decompositions of sentences in sub-components with the indication of the head of each sub-component. This result is interesting and ...

With respect to single-valued neutrosophic multiple attribute decision making problems with completely unknown weight information, some operational laws of single-valued neutrosophic numbers, score function and accuracy function of single-valued neutrosophic numbers are introduced. To determine the attribute weights, a model based on the information entropy, by which the attribute weights can b...

We look at extensions (i.e., stronger logics in the same language) of the Belnap-Dunn four-valued logic. We prove the existence of a countable chain of logics that extend the Belnap-Dunn and do not coincide with any of the known extensions (Kleene’s logics, Priest’s logic of paradox). We characterize the reduced algebraic models of these new logics and prove a completeness result for the first ...

This paper presents some similarity measures between complex neutrosophic sets. A complex neutrosophic set is a generalization of neutrosophic set whose complex-valued truth membership function, complex-valued indeterminacy membership function, and complex valued falsity membership functions are the combinations of realvalued truth amplitude term in association with phase term, real-valued inde...

In this paper, we de ne generalized concepts of cardinality of a fuzzy-valued function and obtained some properties of these new concepts. Also, we investigate examples for the calculation of two generalized cardinality of fuzzy-valued functions and compared with concepts of cardinality of a fuzzy set and a fuzzy-valued function. c © 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. The probability density function (PDF) and cumulative distribution function of the sum of L independent but not necessarily identically distributed Gamma variates, applicable to the output statistics of maximal ratio combining (MRC) receiver operating over Nakagami-m fading channels or in other words to the statistical analysis of the scenario where the sum of squared Nakagami-m distributions a...

In this work, we use a notion of convexificator [25] together with the support function [3, 4, 15, 16, 41] to establish necessary optimality conditions for set valued bilevel optimization problems. Fortunately, the Lipschitz property of a set-valued mapping is conserved for its support function. An intermediate set-valued optimization problem is introduced to help us in our investigation.

In this paper, using fuzzy complex valued functions and fuzzy complex valued fuzzy measures ([11]) and interval-valued Choquet integrals ([2-6]), we define Choquet integral with respect to a fuzzy complex valued fuzzy measure of a fuzzy complex valued function and investigate some basic properties of them.

This paper considers a method to realize a two-valued input three-valued output function by using a cascade of four-input cells. Decomposition of a group function is used to find a canonical form. We show that the Walsh spectrum specifies the canonical form, and the number of non-zero coefficients in the spectrum is proportional to the number of cells in the cascade. Finally, we show an extensi...

The purpose of this paper is to characterize when a harmonic function with values in the finite rank operators on a Hilbert space is expressible as a harmonic matrix-valued function. We show that harmonic function with values in the rank 1 normal operators is expressible as a harmonic matrix-valued function. We also prove that for any natural number, n, a harmonic function with values in the ra...
