It is well-known that in a thin ferromagnetic film with a net magnetization perpendicular to the film the collinear arrangement of spins is unstable in an in-plane field H smaller than its saturation value H(c). The existence of a stripe phase was proposed with elongated domains of alternating direction of the magnetization component perpendicular to the film. We consider in the present paper t...
This contribution presents the evolution of crystallographic texture during thermomechanical processing Al alloys. It is shown that nature changes involved in deformation and recrystallization strongly affected by variety initial (pre-rolling) state a given metallic system. Four hot rolled strips identical chemical composition different textures were subjected to further with equal technologica...
In this paper we would like give a short review of our recent works and current investigation in modeling of solid film surfaces growth based on computer Monte Carlo simulations. We also discuss effect of some simplification in growth rules on speed-up of computations, and the time evolution of surface morphology (for example its roughness or anisotropy). We obtained qualitative agreement of co...
In this work, the initial anisotropy and its evolution with strain, hardening and rupture of DC04 mild steel are characterized by using (i) a phenomenological constitutive model composed by the non-quadratic Yld2004-18p yield criterion combined with an isotropic hardening law and (ii) a macroscopic rupture criterion. For this purpose, an inverse methodology of material parameters identification...
We investigate evolution of a planar interface during unstable solidification of a pure undercooled liquid between two parallel plates. The governing equations are solved using a front tracking/finite difference technique that allows discontinuous material properties between the phases and interfacial anisotropy. The simulations produce some of the futures of the dendrit ic solidification which...
An overview of recent high-pT hadron and photon measurements at RHIC is presented with a focus on the evolution of hadron/photon production from intermediate pT (. 5 GeV/c) to high pT (> 10 GeV/c). Addressed topics include single high-pT hadron production, azimuthal anisotropy of π production, di-jet modification at intermediate pT and inclusive photon-hadron correlations. The understanding of ...
One of the first measurements at RHIC was the elliptic anisotropy of the particles produced [1]. It was found to be as large as the hydrodynamical prediction [2] and subsequent hydrodynamical calculations achieved good fits to its centrality and pT dependence [3,4,5]. In the following I review how well hydrodynamical models can fit the data published after those early papers and what constraint...
The azimuthal anisotropy of charged particles in heavy ion collisions is an important probe of quark-gluon plasma evolution at early stages. In the present paper the elliptic flow pattern in Pb+Pb collisions at √ s = 5.5 TeV is analyzed for different hadron species in the frameworks of HYDJET++ Monte-Carlo model. The influence of resonance decays on particle flow is investigated. The different ...
We study the unitary time evolution of antiferromagnetic order in anisotropic Heisenberg chains that are initially prepared in a pure quantum state far from equilibrium. Our analysis indicates that the antiferromagnetic order imprinted in the initial state vanishes exponentially. Depending on the anisotropy parameter, oscillatory or nonoscillatory relaxation dynamics is observed. Furthermore, t...
