The iterative receivers with LSD and PIC on slow Rayleigh fading MIMO channels are considered. The convergence behavior of the iterative detection and decoding is analyzed via VTR. We present an iterative receiver with detection switching and show that this scheme is able to considerably reduce the complexity of receiver without performance degradation.
