The title compound, C(19)H(10)F(5)NO(2), was synthesized by the 1:1 condensation of 2-methyl-8-hydroxy-quinaldine with penta-fluoro-benzaldehyde. It crystallizes with two almost identical mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit.
