Nanomaterials are a new group that has quickly found wide range of applications in medicine, cosmetology, the food, weapons or automotive industry. They also used as fuel additive. This paper reviews literature and assesses current state knowledge regarding use nanoparticles engine fuels. The results obtained so far presented further research directions this field identified.
