In this note we consider the non-cooperative linear feedback Nash quadratic differential game with an infinite planning horizon. The performance function is assumed to be indefinite and the underlying system affine. We derive both necessary and sufficient conditions under which this game has a Nash equilibrium.

Our purpose is to find positive solutions u ∈ D(R ) of the semilinear elliptic problem −∆u = h(x)u for 2 < p. The function h may have an indefinite sign. Sarnak gave an expressions of Selberg’s zeta function for the modular group in terms of the class numbers and the fundamental units of the indefinite binary quadratic forms.
