Odontogenic keratocyst has been renamed as by world health organization in 2005. It is a benign intraooseous neoplasm of the jaw. They develop from the dental lamina remenants in the mandible and maxilla.Odontogenic keratocyst is of particular interest because of its recurrence rate and aggressive behavior.
